[nuPhoto, inc.] (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle and protect your information when you use [EverPass] (hereinafter referred to as “the App”).

This policy applies to the use of the App. If you do not agree with this policy, please stop using and delete the App.

■ Data Stored Only on Your Device

The App is designed with a focus on “local storage, local processing, user control”:

• Passport/ID images, OCR text, tags, classifications, and any content imported by the user are stored locally on the user’s phone or tablet by default.
• The Company does not provide cloud synchronization and will not upload users’ passport or ID content to our servers.
• No registration or login is required to use the App.

■ Information We Collect

To improve stability and fix bugs, the App may collect or receive the following information, excluding any document content:

• Basic device information: device model, OS version, language settings
• App usage status: App version number, crash logs, error codes, performance diagnostics
• Our principle is to minimize data collection and avoid collecting any data that can directly identify you or contain passport content.

■ Use of Camera, Photo Library, and File Permissions

The App may require the following system permissions to function properly:

• Camera: Used to capture passport/ID images (only when the user initiates it)
• Photo Library/Media Gallery: Used to import or save images (based on user action)
• File Access (Files): Used for importing/exporting or sharing files (based on user action)
